We Are Coming

I Can Work With That

I Can Work With That is a nonprofit, non-partisan foundation focused on addressing critical issues relevant to education. It has five I.C.W.W.T. pillars:

I.C.W.W.T.

  • Inspire learners regardless of background or destination

  • Cultivate exchange of novel educational ideas

  • Welcome diverse perspectives in education

  • Work collaboratively across differences

  • Transform potential into achievement

What are this foundation’s products?

  1. An Educational Program

    1. This program focuses on identifying bipartisan efforts and ideas to revolutionary education

    2. It involves teaching the youth novel skills like AI to help others learn and grow

  2. Research Related to Education

    1. Members give regular talks around interesting questions we don’t really hear academics usually answering

    2. Members get money supporting their research

    3. Members attend an annual I.C.W.W.T. conference to discuss these ideas

  3. PowerFoods

    1. A branded smoothie; using the recipe I’ve raised Donnie on

    2. This product line will be for profit

What are some of my outlets that bring free recognition to the foundation?

  1. Podcast, called Educate+, where I interview different politicians around novel ideas involving education and specific thing (voting; AI; etc.). My goal is to use this to start getting paid talks.

  2. A Educational Program: I’m going to start a virtual grade school. It will be focused on lower income students and a low tuition that overall will save each parent money. My goal is to use this to get paid too.

  3. Motivate: This Involves motivational speeches; My goal is to use this to start getting paid talks.

What foundations do I know of that are like this?

  • The WARF foundation, but that one is specific to UW. I want to develop my own funding sources.

  • Chan Zuckerberg Initiative - focuses on education innovation and personalized learning

  • Gates Foundation Education Program - large-scale education reform efforts

  • NewSchools Venture Fund - invests in education technology and innovative models

  • Teach for America - alternative education pathway organization

  • Khan Academy (though not technically a foundation) - free education technology platform

Potential Funding Sources to Explore:

  • Corporate education technology sponsors

  • Individual major donors interested in education reform

  • Government grants for education innovation

  • Revenue from your virtual school program

  • Speaking fees and consulting work

  • Corporate partnerships for your AI education initiatives

People to Reach Out To:

  • Esther and Wendy; tell them what market this will hit; they have already started a foundation

  • Anyone who I can invite to the foundation. Maybe start with the Board of ACR to help me brainstorm this idea.
